This Smiley Antenna Tri-Band HAM & NOAA Telescopic Whip will let your Amateur Radio HT hit the mark!
Has a telescoping 4.5–20.5″ radiating element and 1″ SMA-Female connector base (5.5–21.5″ assembled length). The super efficient synthetic-rubber dipped NT-MIL cover and base-loaded flex coil matching network with 50 W power handling and 50 Ohm impedance insure durability, high performance, and wide compatibility.

This super efficient Omni-directional multi-band antenna is usable in 4 positions with 3–9 dBd gain:

Works with Wouxun, AnyTone, BTECH, Baofeng and most other radios with an SMA-Male antenna connector.
A rubber washer is included with the SMA-F connector for added waterproofing and stability. An additional rubber washer or #8 O-Ring (not included) is recommended for some radios to retain water-resistance (contact me if you would like to see an image of what that looks like).
The screw-on TA connector base is removable and can be swapped for an SMA-Male or BNC connector base (available separately) to use the antenna with other radios.
This antenna can be “tuned” up to the GMRS band somewhat for RX (or emergency TX) by collapsing the last segment a couple inches.
NOTE: Smiley is switching their connectors to black instead of silver (they look great with most radios). As I transition to the new stock, you may receive either or both colors. You can request a specific color in the checkout order instruction and I’ll try and accommodate, if possible.

Worked very well. I have two of these. SWR is good on the two I have. I use these on Wouxun, Baofeng and TD radios along with using as a temporary base antenna at 50 watts and 70cm antenna for cross band repeat at 5 watts and worked very well. You just need to have a metal ground plane to get good swr. I used plastic cardboard with radials of aluminum tape and works well hanging in a closet or up in a tree.
