Attached to your lapel or shirt/jacket pocket with a plastic clip and metal 360 degree swivel, you’ll be able to hear all the action and keep your radio on your belt, in a car/bike caddy or in the desk charger. Includes a red LED transmit (Tx) indicator so you know visually when you’re transmitting or when your battery has run out, without looking at your radio. Features a flexible 23″ coiled cable (5′ + stretched, 4 mm diameter) and 3.5 mm privacy earphone jack (for use with a covert ear piece).
When used with any high-end Wouxun UV9-Series HT, the speaker-mic PTT allows you to transmit on the MAIN receiver without halting the scanning on the other sub-receiver (the PTT on the radio normally halts all scanning). Stay in touch and never miss any action/call.

Note: Some radios do not provide the Speaker Mic power required to operate the LED, but still function normally without this feature.
