A new forecast out by Colorado State University predicts a 63 percent chance of a Cat 3 or stronger hurricane hitting the Eastern coast of the U.S. this season.
This is a great time to be reminded that having emergency two-way radios in your emergency kit, survival pack or bug-out bag could save your life if the cell towers go down and you become separated from your loved ones. This is especially important in Florida, with the highest chance of any hurricane hitting land.
